This is horrible:

But, our country is only headed toward further oppression of it's people as it travels further away from God.

4In God, I will praise His word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

5Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.

6They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul. ~ Psalm 56:4-6

Psalm 56: 1-3

1Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me.

2Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.

3What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

Well, it's that time again folks.

  1. Put on your Crosby jersey.
  2. Wave around your Terrible Towel.
  3. Grab a Mountain Dew.
  4. Sit down.
  5. Enjoy the game.

Game 2: Where the Penguins (had better) squash the Senators.

Wouldn't it be excellent if the Penguins squahed the Senators in the series? It would make me feel like we had a better chance of squashing some real-life health-care cramming Senators in the polls this November. Or at least I could pretend it's a prophecy of that.
The Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Ottawa Senators in the first round of the playoffs and went on to win the Stanley Cup in a dramatic allegory of the dreamed-for victory of Christians around America to defeat the anti-Christian, anti-freedom Congressmen and go on to reclaim America for good!!!!

Can't watch the game tonight?

All you really need is an iPad.
Why, if I had one of those, I could watch the game tonight! Oh, well, hip-hip-hooray for live-tweeting the game and tweet-to-text!
Here we go Penguins, here we go! Woot! Woot!

Hello, there!

Never question a Communist.... I mean Congressman.

Frank J. from has an excellent article advising us on the brilliance of our politicians.

In other news, that will make you feel happier than worrying over the future of our country, the Penguins did lose the the first Round One playoff game last night, but, Sidney Crosby was able to make this excellent backhand pass to Alex Goligoski for a goal WITHOUT LOOKING:

Watch it, you must.
